What is Pyrography?

Pyrography is the art of burning an image onto a surface, usually wood or leather. It is a very versatile Art Form because it allows the artist freedom to create a vast range of images.

Pyrography is used to create pictures on suitable wooden items that have not been varnished or polished.

‘Mr. Ben’, here, is one example of my work.

I specialise in commissions from clients’ photographs.

However I do like to stress that photographs need to be of very good quality for me to do a good likeness.
